Annual Heritage Days

Founded in 1978, Warrior Run-Fort Freeland Heritage Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history and heritage of the Warrior Run area. We accomplish this through annual events and ongoing activities, including:

Historic Warrior Run Church
Oversight and maintainance of the the Warrior Run Church buildings and grounds.
Historic Hower-Slote Farmhouse
Restoration and management of the historic Hower-Slote House and Farm.
Collection of 19th Century Artifacts in Display Case
Collection and preservation of objects made and used by settlers of the area.		 Redware Crafted in the 19th Century
Encouraging the preservation of the crafts once practiced in the Warrior Run area.

State funding cutbacks have made it difficult to continue our mission.

Your support of our fund raising efforts and donations to the Warrior Run Fort Freeland Heritage Society will help us preserve our history and heritage.
